Manufacturer

Aloha Medicines’ Cordyceps product is produced in United States by Aloha Medicinals Int. Aloha Medicinals has recently expanded their manufacturing facility in Carson City, NV. They’ve made a name for themselves and have become the largest Cordyceps manufacturer in the world with a monthly production in excess of 175,000 kilograms. That means that Aloha Medicinals manufactures more than half of the total Cordyceps consumed in the world today.

Product Content & Polysaccharides Concentration

The Cordyceps are manufactured at Aloha Medicinals as a potent powder form rather than an extract.
Aloha Medicinals Cordyceps are grown under cold temperature conditions and light oxygen levels, just like their natural habitat. Each bottle contains 90 easy to swallow capsules. This is a 45 day supply, as a pill is recommended twice per day with meals. The cordycep pills each have 525mg of cordycep powder in each vegetarian capsule. Because of the potency, there are not the polysaccharides that are apparent in competitor’s products. The Aloha Cordyceps is a good quality product. However the fact that it’s polysaccharides concentration is very low makes it less effective than other Cordyceps supplements available in the market. All of the references from Traditional Chinese Medicine and scientific research recommend Cordyceps extract with polysaccharides concentration of no less than 20%.

The higher the polysaccharides concentration the better the product gets absorbed by the body and the better polysaccharides can interact with our immune system. In addition, a high polysaccharides concentration means higher concentration of nutritional elements, such as vitamins, amino acids, minerals, essential fatty acids, enzymes, polysaccharides and other active chemical elements.

Shipping & Money Back Guarantee Period

Each Aloha Medicinals Cordyceps product comes with a money back 100% satisfaction guarantee should there be any problems with the product. This applies up to 30 days from the date of purchase. Shipping is free through USPS for order prices of $25 and larger but restrictions do apply.

  1. I bought Aloha Cordyceps a month ago, they offered discount so I purchased 2 bottles for $40US, which was quite a bargain :-) At that time I did not know that polysaccharides is the main active element, so did not pay enough attention to that. In overall Aloha Cordyceps is a good product and didn’t disappoint me. However next time I will probably try cordyceps with a higher polysaccharides percentage.

  2. This is a good product and great price. I bought this previously from another vendor which charged the same amount for 60 tablets.

  3. Good support for immune system.

  4. Further to this Aloha Medicines’ Cordyceps is Genetically Modified Cordyceps Sinensis in a process known as mutagenesis using snake venom, Aloha Medicinals claim to be the world’s largest organic producer, since GM is banned under organic systems this is truly a misleading statement

  5. I am a bit baffled by this review and some of the comments. First, the review claims that the polysaccharide content is <5%, but Aloha Medicinals claims a polysaccharide content of 41%. This review seems to imply that Aloha's cordyceps capsules contain raw cordyceps powder, but one of their retailers claims that they contain a dried hot-water extract. I am not really prepared to evaluate the relative accuracy of these conflicting claims.

Now, the latest comment claims that the Aloha cordyceps is genetically modified. Aloha offers a guarantee that they do not market any GMOs. And seriously now, mutagenesis in fungi using snake venom? Can you cite a source for that claim?

    • Fairly easy to find Thales. John Holliday, a director of Aloha, has written many articles to promote his product and his success at mutagenesis. There is even a study done by Richard Miller which studies LAB-GROWN CORDYCEPS SINENSIS HYBRIDS in which he also explains and confirms Holliday’s previous statements of mutagenesis with snake venom(Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Crotalus atrox.
They call this new, untested, unproven, cordyceps; Cordyceps sinensis Alohaensis. If you dig deep in google and on the Aloha website you will find plenty of information.
I find it also amazing that they claim “This Product Contains No Ingredients from China”, when in fact the Cordyseps sinensis which they genetically modified originally came from China and they state this on their website.
Aloha does not market any extracts of Cordyceps, only powders. The price for extracted cordyceps products are justified at well over $40 for 30grams from other producers, anything being marketed less than that is powders. Aloha at $20, which is pretty resonable for a 100% cordyceps powder, anything less than that and the product would be up to 70% rice flour, as most of the USA brands are at $10 – $15.

      • Richard, After researching Aloha, I find your comment to be accurate, but what brand do you recommend, since you’ve obviously done a lot of research on Cordyceps. I ordered Cordysens from NZ, but it’s very expensive.
        Thanks.

        • Hi Sassy, I would not say nz cordysen is very expensive considering they provide free shipping worldwide plus have discounted packages, so if you buy 2 or more bottles it’s cheaper. However if you find it expensive try other brands and see what work for you best.

  6. Thank you for this information! I had, infact, just purchased from this company and hope it does what it claims!
    Thank you again!

    • Hi Patti, glad you find this website helpful, good luck with your Cordyceps experience.
